How to Apply?

RULES FOR ADMISSION 2021/2022!

Dear Candidates!

Please note that the online registration will be open in March and available on our website: http://kandydat.kul.pl/en/study-in-english/ The consultations and correspondence upon registration are held only via e-mail and your online account at: https://rekrut.kul.lublin.pl/ or by phone. All your questions regarding admission please send to the following e-mail address: study@kul.pl or call by phone (from Monday do Friday, between 09.00 and 14.00): (81) 445  42 16.

For applicants on fee-paying basis

1. Register your application in THE ONLINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM. IMPORTANT: Before registration read our STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

2. While registering, you will be asked to fill in results from your Secondary School Certificate/BA diploma/MA diploma (as applicable) and upload the copies of the following documents:
• passport type photo
• passport data page
• Secondary School Certificate/BA diploma/MA diploma (as applicable). Legalization or apostille is required
• English language international B2 certificate (HERE you can find the LIST OF CERTIFICATES CONFIRMING ENGLISH PROFICIENCY)
• Letter of Recommendation from the Church authorities (only clergymen)

3. You will be required to pay 85 PLN or 100 PLN* registration fee (*for programmes, where candidates are obliged to participate in written exam, oral exam or qualification interview). The registration payment details will be available through your online account.

4. The documents uploaded will be verified by our Admissions Office. On the day results are announced, login to your e-rekrut account and check your results in the section Selected and go to Details next to a selected programme. If you have been accepted, confirm your decision to start the programme online in the e-Rekrut system through your account, print the Form for candidates admitted to a programme.

5. Upon successful review of you application our Admissions Office will send you a Conditional Offer Letter. The letter will specify the deadline for making tuition fee payment. Due to visa regulations in some countries, it may be advisable to pay for the 1st year in advance (two semesters).

6. Upon receiving your payment we will issue the Decision of Acceptance which will be sent to you together with acceptance certificate for visa purposes.

7. The Decision of Acceptance will list the documents which have to be submitted no later than 30 September:
• signed form for candidates admitted to a programme
• the original Secondary School Leaving Certificate/BA diploma/MA diploma (as applicable). Legalization or apostille is required
• Polish sworn translation of the original Secondary School Leaving Certificate/BA diploma/MA diploma. The translation should be taken by Polish sworn translator (applies to certificates and diplomas issued in languages other than Polish)
• form for recognition of foreign secondary school certificate in Poland (only applicants to BA programmes, to be collected at Admissions Office)
• the original English language international B2 certificate
• a valid medical certificate confirming the applicant’s ability to undertake university studies (only for students of Biotechnology programme)
• declaration to respect the Catholic character of the John Paul II Catholic University in Lublin
• one colour photograph (35 x 45 mm)
• medical insurance
• Letter of Recommendation from the Church authorities (only clergymen)

For applicants studying for free

!!! EU, EFTA citizens and Polish descendants pay no tuition fees !!!

Foreigners must submit documents to the Admissions Office KUL (Candidates and Students Section – Kolegium Norwidianum, CN-004).

6. After confirmation in online registration system we will issue your Decision of Acceptance which will list the documents which have to be submitted no later than 30 September:
• signed form for candidates admitted to a programme
• the original Secondary School Leaving Certificate/BA diploma/MA diploma (as applicable). In some cases nostrification, legalization or apostille may be required
• Polish sworn translation of the original Secondary School Leaving Certificate/BA diploma/MA diploma. The translation should be taken by Polish sworn translator (applies to certificates and diplomas issued in languages other than Polish)
• form for recognition of foreign secondary school certificate in Poland (only applicants to BA programmes, to be collected at Admissions Office)
• the original English language international B2 certificate
• a valid medical certificate confirming the applicant’s ability to undertake university studies (only for students of Biotechnology programme)
• declaration to respect the Catholic character of the John Paul II Catholic University in Lublin
