Study in English at KUL

IMPORTANT: Changes in recruitment rules for selected groups of foreigners from July 1, 2025!

For foreign candidates with documents issued by educational institutions operating in the education system of a member state of the European Union, a member state of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) or a member state of the European Free Trade Agreement (EFTA) – a party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, and for candidates with documents issued in countries covered by international agreements ( e.g., Ukraine, China), the recruitment rules for AY. 2025/2026 remain unchanged (i.e., certificate, diploma competitions).

For candidates with documents from other countries (including, among others, Nigeria, Algeria), the university is required to conduct an entrance exam. New recruitment rules effective this year from July 1, 2025 will be published on the university’s website as soon as the University Senate passes them. Candidates who complete the recruitment process before June 30 will be admitted to the university according to the current rules – without the need for an entrance exam.

It remains unchanged that foreign candidates who do not have the appropriate language certificate confirming their knowledge of the language of instruction at the B2 level, we will conduct an online language exam.
