Informatics
Informatics is a field of study for people who want to design and build modern technological solutions. During your studies, you will learn how to program, analyze data, design IT systems, and create applications—from web solutions to systems based on machine learning methods. The program combines a solid theoretical foundation with intensive laboratory and design practice.
Specializations:
• Programming and information processing: you will develop advanced programming and analytical skills. You will learn about algorithms, graph and network theory, and the basics of machine learning, which will allow you to design efficient solutions and work effectively with information.
• Artificial intelligence in data Analysis: you will learn how to work with large data sets, learn about modeling methods, neural networks, and practical applications of data-driven systems in business and administration. NEW!
• Cybersecurity and computer networks: you will learn about the mechanisms of networks and systems, how to identify threats, and how to design effective IT infrastructure security measures. NEW!
• Computer graphics and multimedia: you will design visual and interactive content, create multimedia applications, and learn the basics of computer game design.

Educational requirements
Foreign Secondary School Certificate / IB / EB diploma / Polish "matura" certificate
Competition on the basis of secondary school certificate – the result of the one of the following subjects is scored: mathematics, physics or informatics. If an applicant passed more than one of the above subjects, the best result is taken into consideration.
The qualifying score may not be below 35% at the ordinary level.
Legalization/recognition of educational documents issued abroad
Required documents
In addition to a Secondary School Certificate a candidate is also required to submit:
* the written part of Polish matura examination in English language at the advanced level with the result 60% or higher is tantamount to a certificate confirming English language proficiency at level B2
Score convertion rules
Entrance examination - requirements
