Documents required upon enrolment

Dear International Candidates for the programmes taught in English!

The confirmation of studies in the academic year 2024/2025 is conducted online via e-Rekrut system and then by submission the required documents in person at Admissions Office no later than the 4th of  October 2024.

We encourage you to follow the News section at English version of e-Rekrut system with up-to-date information published on every step of the admission procedure.

  • If you are qualified for the programme, the online confirmation in the e-Rekrut system is required:
    • by printing, signing and uploading the Form for candidates admitted to the programme (in Selected-Details),
    • candidates on fee-paying basis: are also making one semester tuition fee payment (the details for making the transfer are sent to each qualified candidate via e-Rekrut message) and uploading the confirmation of payment.
  • The online confirmation to undertake the studies takes place till the 20th of May, according to the ADMISSION SCHEDULE.
    The detailed step-by-step instruction on how to make confirmation is available below.
    The failure to fulfill requirements within the deadline is tantamount to your resignation which results in the removal from the list of candidates qualified for the programme.
  • After the uploaded documents are verified positively by Admissions Office and after the complete tuition fee payment is registered on the university’s account, a certificate of enrolment for visa purposes will be issued and delivered online via e-Rekrut.
  • It is obligatory to submit the required documents in person at the Admissions Office KUL before the 4th of  October 2024. The failure to do it results in the removal from the list of candidates qualified for the programme.

It is obligatory to submit the required documents in person at the Admissions Office KUL no later than the 4th of October 2024: 

  1. Form for candidates admitted to a programme – original version printed with a photo from e-Rekrut system (Selected-Details) and then signed by handwritten candidate’s signature,
  2. Secondary School Certificate with legalization/apostille – original document for inspection,
  3. Polish sworn translation of the original Secondary School Certificate with legalization/apostille; the translation should be taken by Polish sworn translator,
  4. color, document type photograph must be uploaded at e-Rekrut candidate’s account,
  5. document confirming your English proficiency at B2 level – original document for inspection,
  6. Declaration to respect the Catholic character of the John Paul II Catholic University in Lublin (download here) with your handwritten signature,
  7. medical insurance or a declaration to sign a contract with the National Health Fund in Poland,
  8. * health certificate (only for candidates admitted to Biotechnology programme) – the medical referral is issued by the Secretariat of the Faculty after your arrival,
  9. * parish priest’s opinion (only for candidates of the Roman Catholic denomination to programmes: Philosophy, Theology),
  10. * letter of recommendation from the Church authorities with permission to undertake the studies (only for clergymen).
  11. * original certificate confirming prosocial engagement (only for Applied Anthropology programme)

You will be also asked to present for inspection your valid passport with visa.

    2. BA/MA diploma with legalization/apostille – original document for inspection,
    3. Polish sworn translation of the original BA/MA diploma with legalization/apostille; the translation should be taken by Polish sworn translator,
    4. color, document type photograph must be uploaded at e-Rekrut candidate’s account,
    5. document confirming your English proficiency at B2 level – original document for inspection,

You will be also asked to present for inspection your valid passport with visa.

International Candidate for a programme taught in English, who was qualified, then made online confirmation to undertake the studies at KUL and received the admission confirmation for visa purposes, is obliged to submit all required documents (please find the list of documents above) in person at the Admissions Office, no later than 6 October 2023.

      1. On the day the results are announced (see Admission Schedule), check them on your e-Rekrut account (in Admissions – Selected – Details).
      2. If you have been admitted to a programme you will receive the following information: Candidate has been admitted to a programme. Waiting for online confirmation and submission of the documents.
      3. If you have been admitted to a programme print out the Form for candidates admitted to the programme – this is a personal questionary with necessary personal data and your uploaded photo (in Admissions – Selected – Details – Form–Confirmation). The system will ask you to complete personal data (e.g. correspondence address, emergency contact person) and select a mandatory course of foreign language (for certain programmes you will have to take an online test to know your level).
        • Before confirmation and printing the Form please check once more if the data provided is true and correct!!!
        • If you find a mistake – you must contact Admissions Office to make corrections: study@kul.pl or +48 81 445 42 16
      4. Printed in color and then signed Form must be scanned in good quality and uploaded on your candidate’s account at e-Rekrut system (in Personal data- Documents- Scans- Add new- choose proper title!). 
      5. Candidates on fee-paying basis: details for making one semester tuition fee payment transfer will be sent on the same day when the results of admission are announced. Remember to make a payment within a deadline. Upload the confirmation of making payment on your candidate’s account at e-Rekrut system.
      6. All uploaded documents are verified by the Admissions Office KUL: If documentation is inappropriate we will contact you via e-mail address provided by registration or via e-Rekrut message system. NOTE: The candidate is obliged to read the messages and documents that are sent in electronic form during the admission process to the candidate’s account in the e-Rekrut system and is responsible for the consequences of failure to comply with this obligation. The candidate is also responsible for the consequences of providing incorrect or untrue data!
      7. After the uploaded documents are verified positively and after the complete payment is registered on the university’s account, a certificate of enrolment for visa purposes will be issued and delivered online via e-Rekrut (in Messages).
      8. In the absence of online confirmation or making tuition fee payment within admission schedule, it is considered that you resign from the programme and you will be removed from the list of admitted candidates.
      9. International Candidate for a programme taught in English, who was qualified, then made online confirmation to undertake the studies at KUL and received the admission confirmation for visa purposes, is obliged to submit all required documents in person at the Admissions Office, no later than 6 October 2023 (please find the list of documents above). Upon verification you will receive the final decision of admission. The failure to do it results in the removal from the list of candidates qualified for the programme.
